The Passive Spender is not actively aware of the use of their money. As a result, they often underestimate what they spend and overestimate what money they have. Passive Spenders prefer not to preoccupy themselves with finances.

Three Tips To Deal With Spending As A Passive Spender

1. Find Motivation

For the Passive Spender, money is not a big motivator. If the you can find something else that motivates you to save money, you might find that you spend less in order to save more towards a bigger motivation

2. Create Spending Safeguards

Spending occurs when there is not a big barrier or consequence in place. If you can’t control your spending, make it difficult to spend money-either leaving your wallet in the car or make it so you have to withdraw cash at the ATM

3. Consider Automating Finances

It is easy for a Passive Spender to spend money, meaning that it is just as easy not to save money. Take chance out of the equation by automating your saving
